I had the opportunity to play music with a group of friends at the Libby Nordicfest 2015. My Montrose dreadnought is still singing sweetly!! Shown at right are Lee Tonner on fiddle, Mike Powell on guitar and Carol Cady on mandolin.
In November 2012 I was given the opportunity to sing at a local event called Kootenai River Rhythm. This bi-annual event is a celebration of music featuring local talent. One of the biggest highlights of the evening is the musical participation of Tony Smith, the event coordinator, and his equally talented sisters. The evening has become highly anticipated and very well attended.
During the evening I sang two songs each of which featured the stunning finger style accompaniment of Dr. Bill Cuskelly on guitar. He graciously played two of our Montrose custom made acoustic guitars; a Montrose small jumbo and Montrose Signature model.

Lindsay Cardinale, an American Idol finalist, joined Trent in sing his song "Keep on Lovin' You". This song was picked up and recorded by Steel Magnolia. Lindsay is a great young lady with an awesome voice & personality. She had fun teasing Scott about leaving one of his Montrose guitars behind when it was time for us to return to Montana.
As the evening wound down Scott had an opportunity to visit with Trent and thank him for playing a Montrose guitar during the set. It was an amazing evening.
Trent Willmon & Cody Johnson take turns playing a Montrose signature model guitar at a club in Nashville. Trent, a seasoned singer/songwriter and Nashville favorite has many hit songs under his belt. Cody is a talented rising star on the country scene. Both of these guys can sing, play guitar, plus they have rodeo roping experience. We highly recommend catching them in concert if the opportunity presents itself.
